HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A single-vehicle crash in Havre on Tuesday afternoon resulted in the vehicle rolling over and the sole occupant suffering significant injuries.
According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Cade Hill, a man in his 50s or 60s was driving a Toyota Camry north on Wild Horse Road at around 1:30 pm when he tried to overcorrect a turn, leading his vehicle to roll over and land in a ditch on the west side of the road.
The car was totaled and the driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Northern Montana Hospital, where he is in stable condition. Alcohol or drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash, but speed and a lack of paying close attention to the road may have played a role.
