
MALTA, Mont. (NMB) – One person was killed on Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash on US Highway 191.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 10:16 am at mile marker 104, three miles east of the DY Junction. The vehicle was traveling south when the driver lost control of the vehicle on the ice. The vehicle then left the shoulder, tripped and rolled. One passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was not wearing a seatbelt.
No further details have been released. The victim’s name is being withheld until the family is notified.
