One Person Killed in Single Vehicle Wreck South of Gildford

GILDFORD, Mont. (NMB) – According to Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross, Bryan Ayers was killed in a single-vehicle wreck Wednesday afternoon south of Gildford.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the vehicle was traveling northbound on Secondary Highway 448 at about 1:20 p.m. when it went off the west side of the road. Ayers attempted to regain the road, causing the vehicle to roll a half turn and coming to rest on its top.

Ayers was declared deceased at the scene. The road conditions were bare and dry at the time of the crash and the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
