
HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Biden Administration has announced a limited open enrollment period for people looking to get health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.
The enrollment period through HealthCare.gov will run from February 15th through May 21st.
Consumers enrolled in a HealthCare.gov plan are guaranteed to receive comprehensive coverage, with no pre-existing condition exclusions or markups. Testing and treatment of COVID-19 are considered essential health benefits and are covered by these plans.
Anyone in Montana can call 430-0005 to reserve a free telephone appointment with the Navigator program to get free enrollment assistance. This agency is free program for all Montanans that receives federal funding to assist consumers with enrolling in Medicaid or private health insurance.
