(NMB) The Montana Tech Orediggers racked up 487 yards of total offense on Saturday afternoon in Havre and defeated the Lights in a Frontier Conference football game by a final score 0f 28-0. Montana Tech Quarterback Blake Thelen was 19 of 31 through the air and threw 2 touchdown passes, Ethan Renner rushed for 106 yards and a score and Kaleb Winterburn had 1 rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown.
The Lights could only muster 97 yards of total offense. Freshman quarterback Ashton Platt was 13 of 24 passing for 97 yards. Jeremiah Benson had 3 catches for 40 yards.
The Lights have their final game of the season next Saturday on the road in Billings against Rocky Mountain College.
