(Havre) – The Hill County Park Board met for its regular monthly meeting on Monday night. During the meeting, the board approved the sale of a cabin in Akali Springs and a site improvement request on Phelps Road.
The board voted to spend up to $4,800 for J and V Restaurant Supply to design the kitchen inside the new Beaver Creek Lodge at Camp Kiwanis, and they noted that the County Attorney is still looking over their proposed haying and grazing procedure changes.
The board approved grazing allotments for the Far North, North End, Middle, Kiwanis and Horse Pasture and South End of Beaver Creek Park, and Superintendent Chad Edgar Said in July Beaver Creek Park was very busy, but things went smoothly on his end for the month. He also stated that the park is starting to dry up with the recent windy weather and that the3y have started replaces signs on the nature trail and cleaning up the ash piles at campgrounds.
The next meeting of the Hill County Park Board will be on Monday September 14th at 5:30pm inside the Timmons Room in the basement of the Hill County Courthouse.
