GLASGOW, Mont. (NMB) – Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 6 game wardens affirm that due to good people coming forward with good information, the individual responsible for the two bull elk killed in Blaine County last week has been identified and interviewed. A press release says charges are pending in the case.
Region 6 wardens thank the public for the TIP-MONT phone calls, comments, and Facebook shares.
On February 14th, Havre wardens received a TIP-MONT call about a dead bull elk about two miles north of Cow Creek Reservoir off Lloyd Road in Blaine County, about 30 miles south of Chinook. Wardens located two large elk and determined that both were shot and left to waste on the hillside.
