Pest Management Tour in Havre & Chinook on Monday the 29th

(NMB) The 2025 MSU Extension Pest Management tour for pesticide applicators will be in Havre and Chinook on Monday September 29th. Hill County MSU Extension agent Colleen Pegar says this is the last opportunity for applicators to get their re-certification credits.

‘The Pest Management Tour is basically the last chance that MSU Extension puts on for applicators, private applicators, pesticide applicators to get their six re-certification credits in the course of their five-year term and so the five-year cycle ends December 31st.”

The event begins at 8am on Monday September 29th in The Hill County 4H Chuckwagon and will include a variety of topics like management of grasshoppers, alfalfa insect pest management, management of diseases in small grains, weed management in crop rotations, regulatory pesticide education updates and more.
