BILLINGS, Mont. (Kendall Brown) — Pictograph Cave State Park is offering a lineup of public events this summer, starting with a nature-inspired writing workshop led by local poet Dave Casserio on Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants will explore the park’s natural and cultural history while crafting their own writing pieces.
That evening, the park will also host the first of three night sky viewing events in partnership with the Yellowstone Valley Astronomy Association. Events begin at 8:30 p.m. and include telescope access and guided stargazing. Additional astronomy nights are set for July 19 and August 23.
All events are free, but standard park entry fees apply.
