HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) –The Friends of The Havre-Hill County Library are holding a pie sale fundraiser this Monday from noon-4 PM at the Library.
Library Director Rachel Rawn says this fundraiser is in place of a pie social. Around 50 pies will be for sale for between $10-$15.
“The money that the Friends get from the different fundraisers they do throughout the year usually goes to programming. So that pays for the summer reading program. Usually, it also pays for the winter reading series, but we haven’t started doing that this year.”
Rawn says the pies are all homemade by volunteers.
“Some of them are friends of the library. Others are people who just like to bake and have agreed to donate.”
The Library is located at 402 3rd Street. It is open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM-6 PM. Curbside pickup is available for those that would like by contacting the Library at 406-265-2123. They also currently have 12 internet hotspots available for checkout.
