The Havre Blue Ponies are riding a four-game winning streak heading into their next match against Laurel. Both teams have a 6-2 record, with the winner of this game locking up the #3 seed in a tough Eastern A Conference. With both teams already securing a home playoff game.
Head Coach of the Ponies Jake Eldridge gives us some insight on what to expect from their disciplined opponent.
“They’re a very good ballclub. They’re coached really well; they’ve got veteran leadership on their team. A lot of great football players and they’ve been playing really, really well as of late. They’re physical, they play really, really hard and they’re very disciplined.”
To add to the importance of the match-up, the game will be played in the Blue Ponies home turf during their senior night. Coach Eldridge tells us what these seniors have meant to his team.
“These seniors have done so much ofr us this year and for the Blue Ponies in the past as well. They’ve been a great group for us and so, we wouldn’t be where we’re at if it wasn’t for them. This is a special night to honor them.”
