(Lewistown) – A Prairie Stream Restoration workshop will be held in Winifred on Saturday May 6th. Bonny Richard, a hydrologist with the Bureau of Land Management tells us what Prairie Stream Restoration is.
“Well, Prairie Stream Restoration at it’s most basic definition is about human intervention to help heal a stream.“-Richard
The all day workshop on May 6th will be indoors in the morning and Richard explains what will happen that afternoon.
“The afternoon session, we’ll be traveling to a stream just a few miles East of Winifred where we can look at a project we put in over the last couple of years.“-Richard
