Dave Sandau was the most recent prospective coaching candidate to take over the Northern Football program was on the Northern campus Tuesday. Coach Sandau brings a varied coaching background as part of his resume. He had a short stint as an assistant with the Montana Grizzlies and his most recent position was that of offensive line coach and offensive coordinator at Northeast Oklahoma A&M. In speaking with New Media Broadcasters Hi-Line Today; coach Sandau says his background allows him to bring the experience of building relationships with players and in-turn, bringing the individuals together to form a solid nucleus for the team. He is also well-versed in the option defense and would implement that style with the lights. Sandau goes on to say that his recruiting forte would include relaying to the prospective players that they would be part of something that would carry themselves beyond the game of football and into successful futures.
