HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting on Thursday to discuss planned improvements to Secondary Highway 232, also known as the Wild Horse Trail, near Havre.
The meeting will take place at the Great Northern Inn from 3:30-6 PM. It will be an open house format, and people are welcome to stop by at any time.
Members of the project team will be available to answer your questions about the project, which is currently in the design phase. This is the first of numerous opportunities that will be provided for the public to provide input on the project.
MDT says that planned improvements include wider shoulders, enhanced roadway geometrics and new pavement, providing improved vehicle travel for all motorists and travelers in the region.
Final design is anticipated for the summer of 2023.
