(Chinook) The Red Cross will be holding a blood drive in Chinook on Tuesday, May 6th.
The Red Cross says that anyone that’s at least 18 years old and over 110 pounds is eligible to donate, and that 16 and 17 year old can give blood too with a signed parents permission slip, available at Chinook High School.
A release from last week urges those who are eligible to donate, as the organization says blood donorship drops during the winter season due to cold weather.
The Red Cross says that just one donation can contribute to the saving of three lives.
