(NWS) The National Weather Service is reporting that the Great Falls region will be only seasonably cold this coming weekend despite large cold snaps being expected for much of the North-Central United States.
Snow is expected on both Friday and Saturday of this week, but the NWS says that there’s some uncertainties as to how much will fall, and if there will be enough to cause road hazards or visibility reductions in the area.
There’s also non-zero chances of freezing rain which can cause road hazards, including black ice, if it occurs.
NWS is reporting that it will otherwise be seasonably cold for the remainder of the week and into the first full week of the year.
