(Glasgow) – The Reimaging Rural Road Show comes to Glasgow this week. Jennifer Anderson Associate Specialist in the community vitality program within Montana State University Extension tells us about the Reimagining Rural Program.
“The reimagining Rural program started around 2019 when the folks at the state level, us at the state level came to the realization there’s not a lot of work being done with our small towns across the state. We felt it was really important to focus on helping our small towns find ways to create and sustain their community.”
Montana’s small towns are vital to the fabric of our state. While these communities are rich in character and resilience, they often face overwhelming challenges. Reimagining Rural was created to help bridge the gap between local efforts and the regional and state resources available to support them.
