(Havre) – the Havre Department of Public works has announced that they are closing off a section of 5th Avenue to fix a break that occurred in the Water main.
The section of 5th Ave that will be closed off is between 6th St and 7th St, vehicles are asked to detour around the repairs. With Southbound traffic being asked to detour from 5th Ave to 4th Ave and back via 6th St and then 7th St. While Northbound traffic will be detoured from 5th Ave to 6th Ave and back via 7th St and then 6th St.
(Update) – 5th Avenue is now open for travel but has been reduced down to two lanes between 6th and 7th Streets while the road repair cures. Work in the east most lane is set to finish next week.
