Robertson Draw Fire Up to 90 Percent Containment

RED LODGE, Mont. (NMB) – The Robertson Draw Fire south of Red Lodge is up to 90 percent containment and remains at just under 30,000 acres in size as of Wednesday.

Over the past week the fire, which was discovered on June 13th, has seen low activity and received nearly a quarter of an inch of rain.

However, critical fire weather conditions are expected over the next few days, so crews are remaining vigilant.

Fire crews are continuing to patrol the area for pockets of heat along the north and west ends of the fire and are ensuring that they are prepared if the fire moves north.

20 personnel are on the scene, and public lands in the area remain closed due to safety concerns.
