ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – This Friday and Saturday, the Chippewa Cree Tribe on the Rocky Boy’s Reservation will be hosting their annual Christmas Pow Wow in the Little Bear Gymnasium on the Stone Child College Campus. Tribal Chairman and event coordinator Harlan Baker says they will have their first grand entry at 6 PM on Friday, and then at noon and 6 PM on Saturday. They will also feature competitions and specials throughout the event.
Baker says they have performers coming from Canada and several other states, and he believes they should have a good crowd this weekend.
They will also have a community feed Saturday afternoon around 3 PM that will be open to the public.
Baker says the event is free and he invites everyone to attend.
