SWEET GRASS COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Billings Gazette reports that a search and rescue operation is underway after a 63-year-old man was swept away on the Yellowstone River between Columbus and Big Timber on Sunday.
Officials say the man went missing after jumping into the river to catch a raft.
Numerous agencies are on the scene contributing to search efforts, which have been complicated by high winds that have limited the use of helicopters.
