(Helena) – For over a decade, ServeMontana has recognized individuals and organizations in Big Sky Country with an award. The Governor’s Office of Community Service Director Sarh Sidowski explains more about the awards.
“The annual Serve Montana Awards are an initiative under community volunteerism for the Governor’s office of Community Service to welcome and encourage citizens to nominate individuals and groups who have made an impact in the lives and landscapes of Montana.”
The Montana Commission on Community Service, a Governor-appointed body dedicated to promoting service in Montana, select the award winners.
The public is encouraged to nominate individuals of all ages and backgrounds, organizations, and service groups. All service must be performed in Montana by Montanans and all nominations must be submitted during the nomination period – nominations submitted through other means will not be accepted.
