The Havre-Hill County Library has announced some changes in operations at the library due to sewage backup that happened in the basement back on March 13th.
The basement where they have the Children’s section, the young adult section and the adult fiction section is closed due to the repairs from the flooding. If anyone wants a book from any of those sections, they can contact them and they will retrieve the requested item(s) from the basement.
Also due to the repairs, all of the children’s programming is suspended. The currently don’t have a set date as to when they’ll be back on, but they hope that it’ll be ready for their Summer Reading Program. The adult programs are still good to go.
Finally, they are having a Book-a-Palooza where all of the books that are currently sitting in the meeting room are free to take, and bags are provided.
