HELENA, Mont. — A Shelby resident is $30,000 richer after winning big with the Montana Lottery.
The prize came from a Treasure Hunt ticket purchased at H&R in Shelby and was officially claimed on June 2.
The Montana Lottery says more than $445,000 in high-tier prizes—those of $600 or more—have been awarded statewide since June 2.
The lottery encourages players to play responsibly and reminds them to sign their tickets.
Montana’s Lottery program has awarded more than $1 billion in prizes since its creation in 1986.
