Following their 3-1 stretch at the OUAZ Volleyball Tournament, the Skylights volleyball team found themselves with an entire week of no matches.
Skylights Head Coach Jerry Wagner says the team got a lot done.
“The week off was fantastic, we got everybody ready to go and we were able to get a little bit better with that time off. We were able to put some reps behind things we need to get better at, and overall, improve,” says Wagner.
The Skylights are preparing to host the Frontier-North Star Conference Challenge this weekend.
Coach Wagner also told us why the public should attend this event.
“Because you’re gonna see some tremendous athletes, you’re gonna see a very together team in MSU-Northern, a team that’s doing all they can to get in the upper half of this conference. It’s really a nice group to be around and the competition is going to be fierce, as it always is,” says Wagner.
The Skylights first match of the tournament is Friday, September 9th at 12pm.
