Havre, MT – With the addition of schools from Nebraska and both Dakotas to the Frontier Conference, Montana State University-Northern Skylights basketball sees big adjustment in 2025.
Now with the addition of six schools to the Frontier conference Skylights basketball will now only play two games against conference opponents rather than three. With the adjustment however, comes more travel.
Long time head coach of Skylights basketball Chris Mouat knows that it will be the travel that poses the biggest adjustment for him and his players come November. “There is gonna be a whole lot of new travel and a whole lot of unknown.” Said Mouat. “So I think the added travel is one thing we’re trying to adjust to right now, and just the arrangements in the different places we have never been so I think that’s a challenge.”
Skylights basketball starts conference play in mid November at the University of Providence in Great Falls.
