The MSU-Northern Skylights basketball season officially hits the court this Friday Night. The Skylights take on Kings University to begin their season.
With a new season, comes a new set of potential lineups with different players. With returning players and new faces mixed in, Head Coach of the Skylights Chris Mouat, talks about figuring out the potential lineups & rotations.
” There’s been some lineups that we haven’t even played with yet, so we’re kind of excited to play that way against somebody else. I’m looking forward to that a lot. We’ll definitely have some different rotations and unique lineups mixing up our post and mixing up our guards.”
MSU-Northern will open their season home, at the Havre High School Gym. Coach Mouat is excited about seeing the fans in a different environment.
” That’s good, our kids will treat that like a road game almost. We’re playing in a different environment, but the bottom line is we have great fans, and we hope to see them over there.”
Different environment or not, the Skylights objective to start the season out 1-0 remains the same.
