Skylights Fall In Season Finale To Bears

The Montana State University-Northern Volleyball team concluded the regular season on Friday evening facing off with the # 17 ranked Bears of Rocky Mountain College. The match would be tight throughout and would go the distance. After narrowly dropping the first game, the Skylights would take the next two games to grab a 2-1 lead. The valiant effort would fall short in the end however as the Bears managed to hang on for a 3-2 win (28-26, 23-25, 18-25, 25-14, 15-9.)

Rylee Burmester tallied 14 kills & 11 digs in the loosing effort for the Skylights. Emily Feller had 47 assists while Shania Neubauer added 27 digs.

The Skylights will now turn their attention to the Frontier Conference Volleyball Tournament which will begin on Tuesday. As the number 6 seed, Northern will travel to Helena to face the number 3 seeded Saints of Carroll College. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
