The MSU-Northern Skylights dropped their first conference game of the season when they lost 66-59 to Providence. The Skylights were down by 17 after the first half but were able to cut the lead to 6 with 2:32 left in the game. That would be the closest the lead would be.
Briaunna McCullough led the way for the Skylights with 22 points, Shyan (Shy-ann) Krass recorded a double -double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Sydney Hansen scored 10 points off the bench.
The Skylights only shot 32% from the field and 26% from the 3-point line.
The Skylights are now 3-3 on the season and 0-1 in conference play. They’re back home Saturday to take on Carroll at 2pm at the Armory Gym.
