The MSU northern Skylights basketball team is 3 and 2 through the first few weeks of the schedule and now prepare to open up Frontier Conference play this week. The Skylights will travel to Providence on Thursday and will Host Carroll College on Saturday. As Frontier conference play begins Head Coach Chris Mouat is hoping his team keeps developing some consistency.
Consistency for us is a big thing right now, we have not had that. That’s one thing we are looking for, consistent play from people every night, know who we can rely on. If we work into that we’ll be in a lot better place.”- Mouat
According to Coach Mouat Providence and Carrol both have good teams and present different challenges. Providence has a lot of players that can score, and Carroll is very deep
“A lot of kids that can score, they have three or four in double figures right now, but Brooklyn Harn is one of the best scorers in the Frontier. Carrolls got the talent to win the whole thing this year. They’re good enough. They’ve got the size, they’ve got the athleticism, they execute their stuff really well and they’re a deep team.”- Mouat
Tip off Thursday in Great Falls is 5pm. The Skylights and Carroll College will tip off Saturday at 2pm in the Armory Gym.
