The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team lost to Rocky Mountain College on Friday night in Havre 3 sets to 0 (19-25, 25-27, and 14-25).
The Skylights got behind in the first set right away. They went on an 8-0 run to take the lead 12-11. The Battlin’ Bears took over at the end to take the set. 19-25. The Skylights battled in the second set, as they took their first lead in the second set 22-20. Rocky Mountain College came back to take the match 27-25. The Battlin’ Bears took over the third set to take the match.
The Skylights were led by Alyssa Pretty Weasel, who tallied nine kills. Jessalynn Chvilicek added eight kills. Kaitlin Murdoch led the team in digs with 17. Emily Feller led the team in assists with 31.
The Skylights are now 3 and 3 in Frontier Conference Play and will be on the Road Wednesday October 26th to take on the University of Providence.
