Skylights Volleyball Picks Up Big Road Win

(Butte) The Montana State University Northern Skylights volleyball team got a huge road win in Butte on Thursday night, defeating the 20th ranked Montana Tech Orediggers in 4 sets. ( 25-23, 13-25, 25-22 and 25-17) The Skylights were led by Alana Graves 15 kills and .480 hitting percentage. Jessa Chvilicek added 16 kills in the match. Macee Muphy led the way with 27 assists, Emily Feller had 18 assists and Baily Egan led the Skylights in digs with 24. Northern also had 9 blocks. With the win the Skylights are now 7 and 8 on the season and 2 and 4 in conference play. Northern returns to the Armory gym on Saturday for a match against Montana Western. Start time is 2pm.
