“The dinner is, we have it yearly in October and it’s going to be this coming Sunday the 22nd from 11am to 3pm. It’s like a big Thanksgiving dinner we have turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, the vegetable is usually green beans, pies some different desserts mostly pies, coffee, water, milk. Prices its $15 for adults $6 for children 4 to 12 and under 4 is free, no charge.”

Josie England member of the PCCW talks about the history of the dinner.

“It began years ago with a bunch of Italians that lived in Havre, Havre had a lot of Italians, and they use to have a spaghetti dinner every fall a spaghetti dinner and all the Italian women would make the sauce, different sauces. And it continued for quite a few years until they started arguing about who’s sauce was better, they would mix them together, but they still argued about who’s sauce was better. Well, the next year it was only a few who went so it kind of dropped off there and from there they started another dinner, but I don’t know if it was turkey then or not. It used to be like I said spaghetti for years.”
