ST. MARY, Mont. (NMB) – Blackfeet Law Enforcement have announced that St. Mary Lake will be closed to all public boats and watercrafts from August 19th through the 27th in order for a search to be conducted.
The closure will allow for a water recovery team to search the lake, potentially in search of the bodies of Arden Pepion or Leo Wagner, who have been missing on the reservation since April.
In addition, the Chewing Black Bones boat dock will be closed on August 26th and 27th.
