(Chinook) The Chinook Sugarbeet Festival will take place Saturday, September 28th as a long-standing tradition within the Chinook Community.
This year’s theme is “History in the Making”, New Media Broadcasters spoke with Chinook Chamber Board Member Laine Jorgensen about this year’s theme.
“We pick a new theme every year, and we’re really trying to promote our museums. We have some really great things to offer in Chinook as far as museums and history wise, we have some neat history there and our museums don’t get as much attention as they should so we thought this would be a fun way to get people interested in history and showcase the history of Chinook.”
The first event of the festival begins at 10am Saturday morning.
