Sunday Evening Fire Consumes 120 Acres in Hill County

HILL COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – A fire late Sunday consumed 120 acres of stubble field 15 miles southwest of Havre

Disaster and Emergency Services Coordinator Amanda Frickel says that authorities were dispatched to the fire near Fresno Road South at around 9:30 PM.

There were no injuries.

Agencies at the scene included the Wild Horse, Kremlin, Gildford and Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Departments.

Crews were released from the scene at around 11:30 PM once the fire was out.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
