(Power) A teacher from Power was chosen by Montana’s Office of Public Instruction as the recipient of the 2025 “Teacher of the Year” award.
Dawn Sievers, 7th-12th grade Spanish and Art and 7th grade English at Power Schools, was chosen this year after OPI interviewed four finalists. In addition to Sievers: Jennifer Fleek Airne from Billings, Jordan Capp from Missoula, and Megan Brenna from Livingston were all under consideration.
Sievers will now go on to represent the state of Montana in the National Teacher of the Year competition.
