Texas Man Sentenced to Prison for Fraud and Identity Theft Charges

(Billings) — Vincent Charles McCall of Dallas, Texas, was sentenced on September 14th for passing stolen and forged checks amounting to over $40,000.

McCall was sentenced to 2½ years in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay $30,446 in restitution to the victims of his crimes. McCall was arrested on February 14th after he had spent a month participating in schemes to defraud various financial institutions across Montana.The defendant pleaded guilty to bank fraud and aggravated identity theft in May 2023.

United States District Judge Susan P. Watters presided over the case.
