Havre, MT – The MSU-Northern Skylights hosted Lakeland University and claimed another win in their last non-conference game (111-30).
The Skylights exploded offensively jumping out to a 30-7 at the end of the first quarter. The Skylights stayed hot scoring 23 points or more in every quarter including a 34-point fourth quarter.
When the buzzer rang Northern finished five players in double figures with four of them scoring 15 more points. Cieria Agasiva led all scorers with 20 points.
As a team the Skylights shot 59.5% from the field but only made seven of 26 three-point attempts. The Skylight offense controlled the paint on both ends of the floor scoring 76 of their points from the paint while holding Lakeland University to just 12 paint points.
Lakeland finished shooting 29% from the field and 20% from behind the arc. Kate Rever led Lakeland in scoring with 11 points.
Up next there will be a rematch between Lakeland and Northern on Monday at 1p.m.
