(Great Falls) The National Alliance to end homelessness says almost 1,600 people are experiencing homelessness in Montana, and with temperatures getting as low as 60 below zero in some areas, the combination can be lethal.
The Great Falls rescue missions recently received a 10,000 dollar donation from the Town Pump Charitable Foundation, who offers support to many shelters across Montana.
Many receivers of this grant say they will pu the money towards purchasing more food, paying for utilities, and for payroll for their workers.
