Tuesday Montana COVID Update

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 1,070 new COVID-19 cases and 23 new deaths across the state in their Tuesday morning update, the first update to the dashboard since Friday morning.

Ravalli County reported six of the new deaths, while Yellowstone reported four, Lake reported three, and Big Horn and Beaverhead County reported two each.

Three counties reported at least 100 new COVID-19 cases, led by Flathead with 226 and Cascade with 128, and Yellowstone with 102.

The active hospitalization count increased by 15 to 212, while the active case count is at 2,315.

The percentage of eligible Montanans considered fully immunized remains at 54 percent, with over 1.4 million vaccine doses administered.
