Tuesday Montana COVID Update

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 1,284 new COVID-19 cases across the state in their Tuesday morning update.

Six newly reported COVID-related deaths were announced as well, including two from Yellowstone County and one each from Blaine, Cascade, Granite and Mineral.

Three counties reported at least 100 new COVID-19 cases, led by Cascade with 182, Missoula with 136, and Yellowstone with 124.

The active hospitalization count dropped by seven to 303, while the active case count is just over 8,400.

The percentage of eligible Montanans considered fully immunized remains at 54 percent, with 1.392 million vaccine doses administered.
