HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – United Way of Hill County has announced that they have extended the application deadline for 2021 funded partners to August 20th.
United Way of Hill County President Curt Curtis says they would like to expand their pool of funded partners, which is currently at 10 organizations.
“We want to keep them, and we want to keep them thriving and strong, but we want to expand a little bit, and in the last year or so, we’ve been able to raise a little bit more funds.”
Curtis adds that funded partners are able to use the money they are allocated in a variety of ways.
“They can use it for personnel, they can use it for supplies, they can use it for necessary overhead, admin expenses. The only thing we do not do is make direct contributions to endowments or reserve funds. We won’t do that.”
Non-profits that are tax exempt 501(c) status working in Hill County with a mission of advancing education, income and health are invited to apply.
