BOZEMAN, Mont. (NMB) – The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced that four projects across Montana are receiving funding through the USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant program.
The projects are for Sanders County, Wheatland County, and the towns of Hardin and Twin Bridges.
The Plains-Paradise Rural Fire Department is receiving safety and response gear and equipment for 10 volunteer firefighters. The Wheatland County Sheriff’s Department is receiving safety gear and equipment, as well as car and body cameras. The City of Hardin Police Department is receiving public safety data management software and equipment. Kid Country Day Care in Twin Bridges is receiving funds to invest in facilities and operational improvements.
