HAVRE, Mont. — Residents in Havre’s Highland Park neighborhood should prepare for reduced water pressure this Monday, June 30th.
The City of Havre Public Works Department says the fluctuation is due to work on the water transmission line as part of the Highland Park Water Main Replacement Project.
The affected area includes the yellow-shaded section shown in the city’s public advisory map, which can be found on their Facebook page.
Officials explain the large impact area is due to limited transmission connectivity in this part of the system.
They note there have been and will be opportunities to strengthen the system, but those require public support and approval of future infrastructure projects.
For updates or lean more, residents are encouraged to attend the next city council meeting on July 7th at 7 p.m.
