(NMB) (Havre) In December of 2024, the Hill County Commission held a meeting in West Havre about a Rural Special Improvement District for wastewater and sewer improvements. Residents expressed mixed thoughts about the proposal, and now the commission is in the process of collecting more data about this potential project. Hill County Commission Chairman Jake Strissel tells us what this process looks like.
“Our engineering firm, Great West Engineering sent out, to all the residents out there a survey on what their thoughts were on that, and we’ll be collecting those until August 8th, and then we’ll take that data and we will look at all that and see what we can do and what kind of feel is out there.”
West Havre residents also have the option to answer the survey questions digitally by activating a QR code.
