CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – The Blaine County Cruisers will be holding their 11th Annual Cruise this weekend.
Club President Loren Skoyen says festivities will begin Friday night with a scavenger hunt and a drive-in showing of the movie ‘Hit & Run,’ and the activities continue Saturday with a free-will breakfast before the Cruise kicks off at 9 AM.
“It’s going to be a really good weekend to cruise. And like I said, (we don’t) care what (your vehicle) looks like. Doesn’t even have to have four tires. Two tires, motorcycles, semis … it’s just to get out and enjoy the road and talk with everybody and play some goofy games and maybe win $1,000.”
The meal at 7 PM on Saturday evening will be $15 a plate, and everyone is welcome. There will be auctions during dinner, and the movie ‘Six Pack’ will be shown on a projector at dark.
All funds raised supports trade school scholarships for youth in Blaine County.
“This year we’re giving away 3. And it’s for any Blaine County student that is going to go to a trade school,” says Skoyen, who adds that scholarships can be for two and four-year schools. “As long as they are going into a trade.”
