New Media Broadcaster visited with new Havre head football coach Jake Eldridge of the Blue Ponies team for a look into his plans to get his team ready for the fall.
“We’re hitting the ground running. We got workouts that are going to start. You know, we gonna do four day s a week, starting next week, early mornings. We got a couple different football camps we’re going to go to, a couple of jamborees, with some teams up here on the Hiline. A busy summer and a lot of working out and trying to get the understanding of what the expectation is for us as a football team and set the discipline and the standards within the program.”
Coach Eldridge has high priorities for the Blue Pony squad that goes beyond the plays on the field.
“Xs and Os are one thing but the standard of which we do things is another. Holding people accountable through the summer and raising the bar is priority number one.”
