HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Modern Machinery visited Montana State University-Northern on Wednesday with twelve employees to kick off Modern Machinery Days, interview students, and announce their new Diesel Student Tuition Assistance and Loan Repayment Program.
A press release says that “Modern Machinery Days” is a three-day event where their instructors teach Northern’s diesel students about their industry. This year, they conducted three master-classes covering Hydrostatic transmissions, Intelligent Machines, and Tier 4 Final engines.
On Wednesday night, they announced their new Diesel Student Tuition Assistance and Loan Repayment Program during a dinner info session. On Thursday and Friday, they interviewed students for potential internships or future employment.
They have two programs available for MSU-Northern students. The first program is for student internships and the other is the Diesel Student Tuition Assistance and Loan Repayment Program, to help offset student debt incurred while obtaining a Diesel Technology degree.
