(Havre) – The Hill County Farm Service Agency say the county is eligible for the Livestock Feed Program (LFP) as of May 1, 2026 and the Emergency Livestock Assistance Program (ELAP) as of
January 1, 2026 for Feed and Water Transportation. County office staff is working on applications now as Acreage Reporting is complete. They say if you have not contacted the FSA office to let t
hem know your livestock numbers, please do so, so they can start on applications for you. The deadline to sign an application and turn in all required documentation is March 1, 2027.
